As Webmaster of the Virginia State K of C Council website, Brother Knight Rick Muniz was responsible for some very noteworthy milestones. The Virginia State Council website was the second state council website to go online. It went online in January of 1995 and was hosted free of charge for the first year and a half by Rick's company, Telecommunications Systems, Inc. of Annapolis, Maryland.

Virginia was the first state council to have its own dedicated domain name: www.kofc.org. Rick had the foresight to select a most appropriate domain name before anyone else had the chance. If that domain name looks familiar it is because it is now the domain name of the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council Website. Rick and the Virginia State Council gave up the domain name in order to allow Supreme Council to use it for our Order's Internet Home. 

Rick was Grand Knight of Ambrose Council #8403 during the 1997-1998 Columbian Year. He is a Past Faithful Navigator of Molloy Assembly #1894. He is currently District Deputy of Virginia District #15.
